Northwest Collegiate Cycling Conference Championship Road Race, TTT, and Criterium

Saturday and Sunday, April 25-26, 2009
Registration:
We will be doing pre-registration the Friday before the road race from 7:00 pm till 8:30 pm. This will be held in the Student Union Building (SUB) Lobby on the corner of 6th St. and Deakin St. You can park on that corner, or park next to the Bookstore/Post Office on Deakin St. across the street from the SUB.
Please bring payment, normal waivers (one for the RR hosted by WSU and Crit hosted by UI) and extra waiver for the criterium (will be emailed out).
Registration will also be available day of in Palouse before the start of the races. Registration is available from 7:30-8:30 am.

9:05am Men B – 2 Laps

Boyscout Spaghetti Feed: 11 a.m. – 2 pm (about $5 for the food).
Genesee Team Time Trial:
Located in Genesee, ID (approximately 45 minutes from Palouse, WA).
Saturday, April 25th first group off at 5:00 pm
12 mile flat/false-flat fast out and back course might be windy!
Parking at PNW (Pacific Northwest Farmers Cooperative) at 117 West Chestnut, Genesee, ID. There is plenty of parking in the gravel lot and paved lot. Bathrooms are in the white concrete building with blue trim next to the baseball field.
Start line is on Old highway US-95. (From Chestnut take a left onto Cedar, and follow road right and turns into Old US-95).
Order: Men A >B>C>D>Women A>B>C
1 minute intervals with 3 minutes between categories.

8:00 am Women C 20 minutes
8:30 am Men D 25 minutes
9:05 am Men C 30 minutes
9:45am Women B 30 minutes
10:25am Men B 40 minutes
11:15am Women A 40 minutes
12:05 pm Men A 50 minutes
1:00 pm Fixie Fun* 3 laps
*May be divided into multiple
fields if there are several entries
Entry Fees: $40 for omnium or:
$20 for RR
$5 for TTT
$20 for Crit
$4 for Fixie Fun Crit. (prize will depend on number of entrants)

Presentation of seasons awards and championship medals.

Conference Meeting:
8:00 p.m. Saturday after TTT at Mikey’s Gyros!
Food is Chicken Curry. For those of you who don’t eat meat, there will be a bit of curry set aide without chicken.

From Genesee: head North on Highway 95 take a left on 6th street and then right onto Main Street. It is on the left next to the Pawn Shop (same enterance). You can park on the street in front. If necessary, there is a large parking lot on the other side of the building, to get there keep heading North on 6th St. Take a left on 3rd St and then a left on Jackson St. The parking lot will be on the left. Go around the buildings to get to Mikey’s Gyros.

Directions to Road Race:
From Moscow (20 minutes drive): Head North on US 95 for about 10 miles. Take a left on ID-66 (towards Palouse). Right on Division ST/WA-272. Turn left on Main Street. Park someplace along the road or in one of the parking lots. Staging, bathrooms, and day of registration is at the park on the left.
From Pullman (20 minute drive, 15 miles): Heading North on Grand Ave/WA-27. Follow into town and take a left onto Main Street. Park someplace along the road or in one of the parking lots. Bathrooms and day of registration is at the park on the left.
Directions from Road Race to TTT:
About a 45 minute drive (31 miles). Heading back on WA-272 (toward Pullman) take a left on WA-66 (toward US-95 and Moscow). Take a right on S US-95 (toward Moscow). Follow US-95 South through Moscow (you are on it for 25 miles). Take a left onto Genesee-Juliaetta Rd (toward Genesee). This turns into Chestnut Rd. Parking is at PNW (Pacific Northwest Farmers Cooperative) located at 117 West Chestnut. To get to start of race, take a left on Cedar St and turns right into old US-95. Race starts on Old US-95.
